Screendancing Classes

Cami Delavigne is a writer of both feature films and television, including the Oscar-nominated film Blue Valentine starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams. Additional credits include the WGA-nominated series Homecoming (Amazon), The Son (AMC), Quantico (ABC), New Amsterdam (NBC), Kevin Can F*** Himself (AMC), and American Gigolo (Showtime) as well as a mini-room for The Bell Jar (Showtime) and original pilots for HBO and Sundance Channel. She currently is developing for Freemantle a satirical drama that centers around a megalomaniac architect and her ambitious protégée. She is also back with her first love, writing feature films.

Cami teaches TV drama writing at American Film Institute. She has also taught screenwriting at NYU Tisch School of the Arts for both graduates and undergrads. In 2020, she created a method called Screendancing that combines a dance class with a writing workshop to create characters with more tension and emotional connection.
